Wilson Crew is the oldest high school rowing program in the District of Columbia and remains the only public school rowing program in DC. Based at the Thompson Boat Center (TBC) in Georgetown, the team was founded in 1985 and now has a 30-year of history of rowing on the Potomac, with indoor training space at Woodrow Wilson High School in Tenleytown.
Wilson Crew is a founding member of the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Rowing Association (WMIRA). The team competes in a number of regional regattas and races throughout the Fall and Spring seasons and also competes at the national level each year at the Head of the Charles, Stotesbury Cup Regatta, and SRAA National Championships.
Wilson Crew is a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Tax I.D. 46-0878484). Fundraising and team operations are managed by the Woodrow Wilson Crew Booster Club Board.
