A number of you have asked us what will come of the season you'd signed on for, and the unfortunate answer is, like so many things these days, we just don't know. Right now, we know we are off the water until May 1, and beyond that, only time will tell. We know that raises questions about what that means for your payment, and we are writing to offer a few options:
1. If it's important for you and your budget, we are happy to refund your payment for the spring season.
2. If you are able to leave that fee with us, we appreciate it -- we have fixed costs, including coaches' salaries, equipment payments, insurance, and more, that we still need to meet. As a booster organization, we have very little give in that budget, so every bit helps. If you go this route, we can do one of two things for you:
a. We can roll your payment into a credit for your rower assuming (hoping!) they join the Wilson team as a freshman in the fall.
b. We can shift your payment into a tax-deductible donation to the program and offer you a donation letter for it.
If we are able to move forward with an abbreviated spring season, appropriate adjustments can be made to any of the above. We respect whatever decision you and your family make, and are ready to answer any questions you may have.
